The countdown is on.
With only 12 sleeps until Christmas, it won’t be long before we’re packing the Elf on a Shelf back into the loft (thank god!) and ringing in the New Year.
But while I’m all in favour of spending this season knocking back a mulled wine and bingeing on Die Hard movies, I also like to use this time of year to get all my plans in order.
I want to hit the New Year running, and in order to do that, I need to know which direction I should be running in.
Last week I took myself off to a cafe, sat in a comfy corner and mapped out my entire year.
I mapped out my goals, worked out my deadlines and created a solid marketing strategy to make sure I reach them.
I’ve got clarity and I’ve got a plan.
As soon as the decorations are down, I’m ready to crack on and start making 2020 my bitch.
But most business owners don’t do this.
It’s a big problem.
Because when you don’t know where you’re going or how you’re going to get there you can be very easily distracted, dissuaded or pulled off course by any number of “important” tasks that crop up.
So what about you? Have you got your plans in order? Do you have a solid marketing strategy for 2020 that’s going to push you towards your goals?
If strategy is not your thing then I’m here to help 🙂
